The 3:1 carbohydrate to protein ratio maximizes post-exercise recovery by replenishing glycogen levels and improving protein resynthesis, which promotes muscle regeneration.
The combination of these two carbohydrates, palatinose and amylopectin, which are released slowly and quickly respectively, continuously provides glucose to your body, promoting effective muscle glycogen recovery.
The high content of branched-chain amino acids (BCAA) and essential amino acids in Isolac® whey protein isolate, along with Creapure® creatine, promote muscle recovery and muscle tissue growth.
Furthermore, Recovery Plus contains sodium chloride in its composition, which is the main electrolyte lost through sweat during exercise.
